Building a Windows Server 2012 on VMWare Fusion
Quick run-through of building a Windows 2012 Standard Edition Server using VMWare Fusion. It’s built on an SSD so pretty fast.

Following my recent articles on fitting a Samsung SSD to my Macbook pro, and my main usage being around virtualisation, I received a request around the performance of building Windows 2012 Servers while running on the SSD.
Fairly easy to video, so that’s exactly what I’ve done - see below. It essentially takes under 10 minutes to build - not too shabby really. Not a particularly interesting video to watch through, so you may want to skip the build bits! You can see the hi-def version natively on YouTube here.
