How to fix an issue with scrolling on Chrome/OSX.

I’ve been having an odd issue with scrolling on Chrome on OSX Mavericks - it pauses & stutters its way down the page. It’s irritating and makes my properly fast laptop feel like it’s from the past.
Anyone, somebody today pointed me at a simple fix - set ‘Show scroll bars’ to ‘Always’ in System Preferences/General. Works! No more judder scrolling! Awesome.
